I was a little disappointed I’m not saying that it’s a bad speaker. Good for small environment. I need that big boom sound. It doesn’t give a boom sound, It puts out a thump sound especially when you try to put some power to it. Probably use it for my outdoor speakers, in All it’s a fair unit. Thank you very much. I need something more with boom.

    Cheaply made sub.

    higher quality switches and more power. Also better quality control. the Y adapter was loose and grounding out. The connecting RCA cords were cheaply made and one end broke apart on the end, something I had never seen before, and all I did was unplug it.

    Acoustic Audio PSW12 SUB

    I completed my system with this. I like having a sub turn itself on and off. The down firing feature is powerful. It is connected with 4 Sony SS-F7000 towers, a Sony SS-CN550H center channel speaker. A Sony STR-DA7ES receiver powers all.

    avg design even at these prices..

    the quality for 500 watts should get 200-250 rms and even at lower wattage the bass response is avg. i wanted it to achieve lower when i watc movies.. but it's ok for my bedroom..
